
The Sacred Jungle started life as a planned Safari ride, before the Animal Keeping permits ran out for the park. It is an Intamin Rocket model, featuring a few inversions including a launched cobra roll. It is a variation of the Vekoma Corkscrew model.Īmerican Accelerator, with its red, white and blue track colour.

Notice the triple corkscrew feature in the middle of the photograph. Here a stationary CorkSpinner and The Swinger can be seen through the trees from The Corkscrew's queueline. These rides were placed together to offer a look into the park's history, and the name became The Old Festival When the park was bought, four rides appeared to be have operating functionality: Tripe Corkscrew (renamed to simply The Corkscrew), American Accelerator (named after its colour scheme and previous themeing), Enterprise (renamed to CorkSpinner to fit its neighbouring ride) and The Swinger. World Gateway is usually the busiest part of the park throughout the day. World Gateway is home to many food, drink and shopping outlets, leading down towards The Old Festival. In 2005, the park reopened for the first time as World Adventures Theme Park and Resort. For five years, around £50 million has been spent to bring the park back up to standard including the installation of three new rollercoasters, two new flat rides and a complete remodel of the entire park. Mr Edwards runs the park from London, visiting often to see his vision is being carried out. The rides were left to rot away for ten years before the park was reclaimed by a Mr James Edwards.
